It's extremely rare for an automatically applied ad extension to outperform an ad you created yourself. You know your audience, your market, and the questions your customers typically ask. Google knows nothing about it. Google may be better at bid management than you are but you are better at ad creation than Google. We're not entirely against advertising advice. Be sure to test them. But don't leave your account unattended only to find out that ads are being automatically applied that you would never have written yourself. Regular text ads are disappearing.
When you create a new ad in a search campaign you will now only see the option to create a responsive search or call ad.
